The Small Press Author Showcase takes place on Thursday, August 28 at the Barnes and Noble in Greece.
Brunonia Barry's "The Lace Reader" broke the self-publishing glass ceiling this year when it pulled in a deal reportedly worth more than $2 million. And rumor has it that a film deal may be in the works. The Small Press Author Showcase at Barnes & Noble Greece, designed for small press, self-published, and print-on-demand authors, offers an event where you can be the first on your block to spot a future bestseller. Get it signed by the author and you have a signed first edition to add to your library. Around 75 authors and their wares are expected to show.
Barnes & Noble Greece is located 330 Greece Ridge Center Drive. The free showcase takes place on Thursday, August 28, at 7 p.m. Call the store at 227-1495.
