LONSBERRY: Just turn him off

on August 27, 2008

Bob Lonsberry makes blanket statements that are filled with ignorance. For example: his comments about pregnant mothers in school. People make mistakes - especially young people. Life is all about growing from the mistakes and working through them. These young mothers went back to school and put up with the criticism of their peers, the physical sicknesses that accompany pregnancy, and the modern-day stigma of the scarlet letter.

Did Lonsberry think about how easy it would be for these girls just to quit school and give up on their lives? Did he think of how much determination it took for these girls to attend school pregnant? Did he ever make a mistake in his life? Did he get praise for overcoming it? Lonsberry's right-wing political views are uninformed and arrogant. But boycott WHAM? Boycott advertisers? Just turn him off; the ratings will do the rest.
